Executive Order No. 1581:
Governor Reeves orders all flags be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, August 13, to honor the passing of Officer Troy Floyd, a decorated law enforcement officer who lost his life in the line of duty on August 8, 2024, at the age of 52, while honorably and courageously protecting and serving his community.
Executive Order No. 1575:
Governor Reeves orders all flags be flown at half-staff for public buildings and grounds on Monday, September 11. The order directs the American flag and state flag to be flown at half-staff on all state buildings and grounds from sunrise to sunset on Monday, September 11, 2023. Additionally, it calls upon Mississippians to participate in a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time to honor the innocent victims who perished as a result of the terrorist attacks
Executive Order No. 1572:
Governor Reeves orders all flags be flown at half-staff for public buildings and grounds until sunset Friday, March 31, in honor of the 21 Mississippians who tragically lost their lives due to the devastating tornadoes as well as the victims of the school shooting in Tennessee.

Governor Reeves orders all flags to be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, December 21 to honor the passing of Bay St Louis police officer Sergeant Stephen Michael Robin, a courageous law enforcement officer who was mortally wounded in the line of duty December 14, 2022 at the age of 34.

Governor Reeves orders all flags to be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, December 21 to honor the passing of Bay St Louis police officer Branden Paul Estorffe, a courageous law enforcement officer who was mortally wounded in the line of duty December 14, 2022 at the age of 23.
