Governor Tate Reeves today announced that he has set four special elections. Two of the special elections are for the Mississippi Senate, one is for the Mississippi House of Representatives, and one is for Tax Collector/Assessor in Pearl River County.

The initiative is a partnership between AccelerateMS, the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA), and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Governor Tate Reeves today announced the appointment of Thomas Michael Reed of Hattiesburg to the Office of Circuit Judge for the 12th Circuit Court District, which serves Forrest and Perry counties. This appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Robert B. Helfrich.

Governor Tate Reeves today announced the appointment of Jerry D. Sharp of Ellisville as Chancery Judge for the 19th Chancery District, which covers Jones and Wayne Counties. This appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Billie Graham.
