HUD Secretary Scott Turner approves disaster recovery action plan for nearly $135 million in disaster recovery funds

Mississippi Governor Reeves today announced that U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner approved Mississippi’s Draft Action Plan, allowing HUD’s Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding to be allocated to impacted areas.

Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund Opens Fourth Round of Application Acceptance

Governor Tate Reeves today announced that the Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund (MOSTF) will open its fourth grant application cycle, supported by $12 million in funding appropriated during the 2025 Legislative Special Session. The MOSTF Board of Trustees will begin accepting grant applications on August 1, 2025.
