    Executive Order No. 1467: waives the in-person requirement for notarizing documents in Mississippi during the COVID-19 outbreak.

    Executive Order No. 1468: suspends the requirement of political parties to submit their selection methods and procedures 90 days prior to implementing.

    Executive Order No. 1469: suspends the requirement that businesses host in-person shareholder meetings before June 30, 2020, as is laid out in the Mississippi Business Corporation Act.

    Executive Order No. 1470: defines elective surgeries and restricts all non-essential elective surgeries and medical and surgical procedures.

    Executive Order No. 1471: creates additional protections from civil liability for healthcare workers and facilities assisting outside their normal operations in the response to COVID-19.

    Executive Order No. 1472: temporarily suspends the 90-day break in service requirement of PERS to support and reinvigorate Mississippi’s workforce in hospitals and other government entities supporting the state’s COVID-19 response.

    Executive Order No. 1473: extends the statewide shelter-in-place order by 7 days, while providing some ability for “non-essential” businesses to safely make sales and reopening Mississippi’s lakes and beaches.

    Executive Order No. 1474: suspends the expiration of all valid driver’s licenses, learner’s permits, intermediate licenses, firearm permits, security guard permits and ID cards set to expire between March 14, 2020 to June 30, 2020. Such licenses, permits, and ID cards shall instead expire on August 3, 2020.

    Executive Order No. 1475: suspends the requirement of the Mississippi Public Service Commission to submit to the Governor the names of 3-6 qualified candidates for executive director of the public utility staff and reschedules the submission deadline to provide names on or before June 1, 2020.

    Executive Order No. 1476: implements school closures for the rest of the academic year and addresses the disruptions to students’ education by instructing school districts to submit their plans for approval to the Mississippi State Board of Education by June 1, 2020.

    Executive Order No. 1525: replaces the Safe Return order and its amendments, combines all social distancing measures into one executive order to ensure understanding and keep people better informed, and eases some restrictions, such as increasing attendance at outdoor K-12 extracurricular events such as football games to 50% of seating capacity.
